Talk To Your Kids About Heroin

All around America, one of the biggest threats that law enforcement is facing is the spread of heroin. The number of deadly heroin overdoses has been rising every year. Last week, a first grader in here in PA accidentally brought his grandmother’s heroin to school.

Now the men and women of law enforcement in Bucks County are fighting back. It’s great to see them taking the initiative to stop this problem before it gets any worse.

But parents also have a responsibility to stop this epidemic. If you have teenagers like I do, you need to sit them down and talk to them about this problem. You need to make it clear that heroin is deadly, and that they need to tell you if their friends are doing it.

Even if you think that your kids are perfect and they always say no to drugs, you never know what might be happening at school. It is better to be safe than sorry.
